Sandro Hit

A strikingly beautiful black horse, brilliant type with quality movement. Together with his trainer Dr. Ulf Möller he was World Champion six year old dressage horse in 1999 and was the sensational Champion at the National Young Horse Championships in Warendorf. Sandro Hit has a sheer black gene. Over the last years at the auctions in Vechta, Verden, Ankum as well as at auctions in Holland and England, he has produced one top foal after another. At the Spring auction 2002 in Vechta, his son ”Super Star” was sold to the dressage stable belonging to Sissi Max-Theurer in Austria for over € 250,000. Furthermore there are now over sixty approved stallions and state premium mares, amongst them Champion stallions and many premium stallions on his list of successes. In 2002 alone, he produced two champion stallions, ”Sir Wilson” and ”Stedinger”. For years his offspring have been winning medals at the National Young Horse Championships, for example ”Show Star”, National Young Horse Champion 2001 and Vice-Champion 2002. ”Poetin” won the National Young Horse Championships for the second time (first time in 2000), winning the six year old dressage horse final, plus she won the World Championship title 2003. Moreover this exceptional mare brought the record price of €2.5 million at the P.S.I. auction. Besides Poetin, Sandro Hit produced ”Sandro” the Reserve-Champion at the National Young Horse Championships and ”Sunny Boy” the winner of the small final. Sandro Hit`s progeny are causing a sensation wherever they appear - ”Starlett”, most expensive horse of the Broodmare collection and ”Schatzinsel”, top price at the Vechta Spring Auction. At an auction in The Netherlands in 2003, one of Sandro Hit’s foals out of a Silvano N dam, ”Sandritana Olympia” was the most expensive foal, she was sold for € 31,000. He also sired the most expensive foal in England. Sandro Hit continues to earn points through his progeny: in the dressage horse classes, not only does he have the highest index of 153 in the whole of Germany but the highest security rate at 88%. His sire, Sandro Song was Oldenburger Champion Young Stallion and Main Premium Champion. The dam’s sire Ramino was Stallion Performance Test Champion and later on five times Italian Champion. Welt As from the third generation is one of the most influential producers over the last years, amongst others, he sired Olympic gold medallist Bonfire ridden by Anky van Grunsven. His dam, elite mare ”Loretta” produced the reigning Vice-World Champion and Vice-National Young Horse Champion Diamond Hit and the highly elegant 1c premium stallion, Royal Hit.
